We help UK families feel confident in their home education journey by providing simple and clear information, practical resources and access to a supportive community of home educators and education partners (useful organisations).
To ensure families are truly supported, we also help local authorities to engage constructively with home-educating families through training, community insight and practical solutions that help meet their evolving statutory responsibilities.
Our mission is to remove unnecessary barriers and champion every family's right to choose the educational path that best serves their child.
in 2026-27, we'll support 100+ home-educating families to create child-centred learning environments that promote wellbeing, personal growth, curiosity and a respect for others.
We envision a UK where home education is recognised as a respected educational choice alongside mainstream schooling, where families feel confident in their decisions, and where local authorities and home educators work together through transparent, efficient and supportive systems that benefit children.
Home education has grown year-on-year in excess of 10% across the UK and c.120,000 families identified as choosing elective home education as their main form of education in the UK at last census. However, many families still face confusion, isolation and uncertainty when choosing to home educate. This is set to continue as legislation changes and the number of EHE families grows in line with Dept. for Education trends.
in the academic year 2026-27, more than 300 local authorities will be expected to navigate this growing trend, manage family expectations within budgets along with evolving responsibilities and the increasing demands of the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Act 2026.
We believe there is a better way.
By providing reliable information and by building strong relations between families and local authorities we're best placed to mitigate any misunderstanding of new requirements, reduce workload burdens, improve satisfaction rates and help create positive outcomes for children, families and the UK's local authority EHE teams.

For parents/ carers of home educated children (5-16 yrs) and for those simply considering their options (0-16yrs).

Whether you are a parent/ carer home-educating or considering home education, a local authority seeking support, or an organisation serving the home education community, we invite you to be part of our growing movement that values educational choice, informed decision-making and collaborative working.
