The Home School UK - for parents & carers
Welcome to The Home School UK
The Home School UK provides a central place for families home educating in the UK to find trusted legal information, practical education support and make meaningful connections.
We save parents time by bringing together reliable information that would otherwise require hours of research, or trial-and-error with advice that might work for other families but may not work for yours. We remove the uncertainty by translating legislation and educational guidance into practical advice. We strengthen your community support and give you host of ways to access local co-curricular activity providers.
Above all, we help families feel less alone and home educate with confidence.

The Home School UK
Amanda Simone BSc. Hons PGDipLaw - THS Founder
We support parents and carers across the UK who have chosen, or are considering, home education for their children. Our community welcomes families from all backgrounds and educational philosophies, whether you are new to home education or have years of experience.
We welcome, with open arms, families who have proactively chosen home education as a lifestyle, those whose children have experienced difficulties in school, parents of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and families simply seeking a more personalised approach to learning.
